Teardrop Photo Page There are many different shapes and styles of teardrop camping trailers, some are not even really a teardrop shape but the basics remain the same. A cozy compartment for sleeping and an outside kitchen, usually under a lift up hatch in the back.
The essentials The important stuff Check in time for The Horsebox is 4-5.30pm, but guests are welcome to arrive at the woodland from 10am. Guests arriving after 5.30pm may need to check themselves in. A map and instructions will be provided. Check out time is 12 noon, but you are more than welcome to have lunch in the Barn Café and stay until the wood closes at 5:30pm Kids are most welcome Everything you need is provided - but bring your own torch for exploring BED SIZES: The main double is 7ft by 4ft and the two kids beds above the cabin are 4ft by 2ft.

A few photos here, from our July workshop in Massachusetts where Tristan Chambers and Libby Reinish from Whittleddown.com , who handbuilt this cool, strap/hoop-top caravan, served as guests/demonstrators for our twenty-two attendees. The two reside in Northhampton, and made the trek from Vermont (where the cabin had been residing) to come and spend two nights out on our property. (L to right- Derek Diedricksen, Libby, Tristan). Snowbirds in Florida
One of our readers, Royal sent this to me the other day and I wanted to share this unique home with you. On Monday 11/02/2009 Royal saw this trailer in the parking lot of WalMart in Mariana, Florida. This little home is certainly distinctive! Due to the signs on the back of the trailer (Neenah, WI – Tampa, FL) and the owner saying they had come to Florida for the winter…I assume they are snowbirds. The owner said the following may be hard to believe, but the left rear corner of the trailer was run into by a car driver … IN BROAD DAYLIGHT!

Holspeed Mk11 a homebuilt camper - on a budget Like many camper trailer owners we started out tenting. After a number of successive wet camping trips late in 2007 our 10 year old tent was showing its age and I figured there must be a better way to stay dry but still retain the camping atmosphere.
