A White Carousel. 3D Blueprint Art: Visual House Plans into Real-Life Models. For those of us who love the look of classic blueprints this is a childhood fantasy world come to life – a strange and surreal mixtures of two-dimensional scale drawing and full-sized furniture and structural objects emerging from these flat surfaces.

In places, this installation by Ou Studio (via Dezeen) is entirely drawn – but it still engages with a curious contextual interplay with surrounding objects, such as the tree and imagined area behind the wall in the image above. In other parts, this artwork takes on a fanciful life of its own as the objects start to animate along the base blue wall, seemingly in various phases of becoming physical and organizing from chaos according to some kind of plan.

The net result is whimsical, creative and original – yet it still traces its roots back to one of the most logical, rational and common systems used for ages within the architectural industry: the pervasive blueprint. Hand Stitches. The Power of Imagination. By Remez Sasson Imagination is the ability to form a mental image of something that is not perceived through the five senses. It is the ability of the mind to build mental scenes, objects or events that do not exist, are not present, or have happened in the past. Everyone possesses a certain of imagination ability. In some, it is highly developed, and in others, it manifests in a weaker form. Imagination manifests in various degrees in various people.

Imagination makes it possible to experience a whole world inside the mind. This ability manifests in various forms, one of which is daydreaming. In your imagination, you can travel anywhere in the speed of light, without any obstacles. Imagination is not limited only to seeing pictures in the mind. A developed and strong imagination does not make you a daydreamer and impractical. This is a great power that can change your whole life.

Imagination has a great role and value in each one's life. About the Author. The Meeting of Art and Science - Participants' Biographies. Lori B and Riccardo Morrison what pARADOX dANCE does. ideas from a form called Contact Improvisation are foundation for our work. 26 years ago, an american named Steve Paxton began some simple experiments with bodies in motion - investigations into gravity, momentum, suspension, the relationship between motion and mass. It was an attempt to ground movement improvisation in something beyond the emotional. Experiential physics? Contact Improvisation has two basic elements, as the name suggests. The form is touch-based and decisions about speed, density, direction, level and shape are found and communicated between partners in the moment, and non-verbally. hence, the study is highly sensate and unapologetically subjective. the experiment and the observation take place in and through the body.

As we dance, we're investigating complex mysteries - structural anatomy, architecture, time, alignment, flight, ergonomics, trust - from the inside out. The meaning of life. Evolution on Earth over the course of a billion years. Life is the epic end result of almost four years and tens of thousands of drawings, single-handedly animated and photographed by Don. As with all our films, no computers were used at any stage of animation or photography. Almost three years were required to complete Life's design and animation, with many complicated sequences demanding several months of work to just produce a few second's worth of finished screen time. The piece was then photographed entirely to 35mm film with all the visual effects meticulously created in-camera, via traditional double exposure and innovative trick photography techniques.

The first ideas for the film - largely constituting what's now the first act - were conceived as early as 1997-8, and were at one point intended to be the first scene of a feature screenplay. The feature fell away but the scene stuck, and eventually evolved into the seed of an idea for a new short. Knitted_Textile_Artists. Below is a current list of Knitting Artists.
