Les Etats-Unis, le Japon et le Brésil représentent à eux seuls près de 41 % de l'audience mondiale de Twitter. Seul le Japon se positionne simultanément sur le podium de l'audience et du reach, puisque 29,4 % des internautes japonnais se sont rendus sur Twitter en octobre, soit 21,6 millions d'internautes ou près de 17 % de la population du pays. A la onzième place, la France se situe tout juste derrière l'Espagne dont le reach atteint 16,9 %. En Europe, c'est au Royaume-Uni où l'audience est la plus forte, avec plus de 7,7 millions de visiteurs uniques.
