I never liked Train much until I heard ‘Hey Soul Sister’ – this song though … it’s awesome! Out of every list that I took a look at for this post, this was always number 1 on the wedding songs for 2011 chart toppers. After listening to it, I have to say that this might be my wedding song! It’s so touching, the lyrics are awesome and … it’s beautiful. Bruno Mars is the guy to have at your wedding this year! I have to admit though, I didn’t hear this song until it was covered on Glee. http://www.myrandomstuff.se/?p=3073

Even in an era when rappers rarely share studios with their collaborators, emailing in their contributions instead, the art of the guest verse is alive and well. It’s still a point of pride for one rapper to swoop in and steal a track’s spotlight away from another. And that sense of friendly competition is still one of the things that makes rap so fun to talk about; we rarely agree on who won what. So here’s one man’s opinion on 2011′s 10 greatest examples of track thievery. Video results for Bob Marley and the Wailers - wolfgangsvault.com - StumbleUpon

Jimi Hendrix. Janis Joplin. Jim Morrison—the list of musicians who died too young stretches for miles, and the man from the tiny Jamaican village of Nine Mile, Bob Marley, will always be included on that tragic list. Born Robert Nesta Marley on February 6, 1945, he faced a difficult childhood as a child of a white father and a black mother. Though he came from humble beginnings, recording his first two singles as Bobby Martell in 1962, the local lad would make good, becoming a member of the Rastafari movement and forming a musical group that eventually became known as the Wailers. http://www.wolfgangsvault.com/bob-marley-and-the-wailers/
