This one isn't done, but I'm posting it anyway. Maybe it's the holiday spirit, but I'm actually glad I never had time to work on it: I have a good job that keeps me busy, and having a family beats being lonely and prolific any day. I think that alternating between realism and something more fantasy or toon will keep it fresh as well as force people out of a comfort zone they may have. That being said, I think the wastelander or any of the future guys look great with the exception of the batface guy as it's the same concept artist as the current challenge. I also though I'd share with you my design process from start to finish, I have been told its different and weird how big I work, so for those who may be interested here it is... This design first started with an idea, and was followed by a horrible stetch in my sketchbook, and a very small silhouette thumbnail that I thought may make an intersting shape. Next, using whatever paper I found around my studio, I begin scribbiling and developing the character, really keeping in mind the original silhouette idea. I keep this stage super rough and loose, taping random papers together when needed as the drawing became bigger and bigger.
