Chocolate Brownie Cookies & Namely Marly - StumbleUpon

If you’re looking for a sweet treat these Chocolate Brownie Cookies might just be the ticket. Some days you wake up realizing you’re stuck in a rut. You don’t really know what got you there, except for the perpetual motion in the same direction. (That’s sort of the definition of a rut.) But then some days something will come along to shake your tires plum out of their tracks. Hopefully that something isn’t a panicked phone call from a loved one or an unexpected (and expensive) bill in the mail. http://www.namelymarly.com/2011/09/chocolate-brownie-cookies/
http://blogs.babble.com/family-kitchen/2011/03/15/nutella-mug-cake/ I have been experimenting with different mug cakes every since I heard about them about a year ago. None of them have been winners. They were either too chewy, too dry, or not sweet enough. Well, I continued experimenting, and thought why not add some decadent Nutella into the mix.

Smoky Chipotle Parmesan French Fries | cooking on the weekends - StumbleUpon

As always, thanks for visiting my site! If this looks delicious to you, please sign up for my occasional emails . . . with more great recipes! One of my absolute favorite flavors in the world (right up there with Nutella and mangoes) is Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce . Spicy, smoky, and oh-so-yummy! This french fry recipe is so flavorful that you really don’t need to dip them in anything. http://cookingontheweekends.com/2011/08/smoky-chipotle-parmesan-french-fries/

Rainbow Cake in a Jar | Family Kitchen - StumbleUpon

I’ve always had a penchant for sunshine in a jar. Doesn’t the very phrase itself, “sunshine in a jar,” roll off your tongue and fill your mouth with magic? While I’ve never yet found myself a sunshine in a jar, I think we may have just concocted it in our kitchen tonight. In this simple recipe, a basic white cake is turned into a slew of bright colors, baked to perfection, then topped with a creamy white frosting. Cakes baked in jars can be topped with traditional metal canning lids and stored in the fridge for up to five days. http://blogs.babble.com/family-kitchen/2011/04/08/rainbow-cake-in-a-jar/
Cut watermelon flesh into 2-inch chunks and discard rind. Purée one fourth of watermelon in a blender with 1 Tbsp sugar, 1 tsp lemon juice, 4 cups ice, and a pinch of salt. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve into a large bowl, discarding solids. Make 3 more batches. Add sugar to taste if desired and serve over ice. Cooks' note: Watermelonade can be made 1 day ahead and chilled, covered. http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/WATERMELONADE-242611

http://www.joythebaker.com/blog/2011/03/cinnamon-sugar-pull-apart-bread/ I’m sorry. I know it’s Monday morning and you probably came here for some pretty pictures of food that you could glance at, and then move on with your day… and here I go thrusting warm, soft cinnamon sugar bread in your face. It’s not fair. I know it’s not fair.
