October 2002 Dr. Laura Schlessinger is a radio personality who dispenses advice to people who call in to her radio show. The following is an open letter to Dr. Laura penned by a east coast resident, which was posted on the Internet.
Here is a quick answer. Paper=Money,or people who have alot of it. Rock=Power, like military or political powers. Scissors=Science, or "cutting" edge technology. Those with money, like governments, are able to buy power(military, votes, ect.) to accomplish what they need. In order to keep the their "power", money needs to buy "scissors", or technology, in order to keep the "rock" strong.
