Linda’s List of Official Tangle Patterns

Not all of the tangles created and introduced by Zentangle® originators Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas are posted online. This makes complete sense when you think about it because income from teaching about Zentangle is one aspect of their business. Learning about the original “102 Tangles” (now up to 154) and receiving instructions on how to teach them is part of the teacher certification seminar. (See this page for more about teaching Zentangle.)

For those who are new to Zentangle, the Zentangle-original (aka “official”) tangles are those created and introduced by Zentangle HQ — that is to say patterns by Maria Thomas, Rick Roberts and Maria’s daughters Molly Hollibaugh “(pronounced: haul’-a’-baw’)” and Martha Huggins. However, every Zentangle-original tangle that does have authorized online drawing instructions is posted here on TanglePatterns and is linked in my list below. SMASH Books: The Un-scrapbook. I have been scrapbooking since about 1994.

SMASH Books: The Un-scrapbook

During this time, I have heard my fair share of people tell me that they want to scrapbook, but “don’t have time.” Or “aren’t creative.“ The SMASH Book line, by K&Company®, is perfect for the un-scrapbooker. I categorize an “un-scrapbooker” as someone who doesn’t want to spend hours with cutesy stickers and catchy titles, but would still like a place to cram ticket stubs, thoughts, and the occasional photo. It is a simple process and you will get so much enjoyment out of it. It would be a fulfilling activity for older children as well. Color, Color, Color! - Alternative ways to color resin... I've seen some conflicting information on what you can and cannot use to color resin.

Color, Color, Color! - Alternative ways to color resin...

Now, as far as I know you can use practically anything sort of dry pigment - such as (my favorite) Pearl Ex powders, tempura powder, pastels, micro glitter...you get the idea... Now for liquids, I've read some sources that say you can ONLY use dyes and pigments specially formulated to work with resin. But I've also run across some other sources that say you can also use oil paints. If you can indeed use other types of pigments it would open the realm of color possibilities, so I decided to do some experimenting.

Since I had no idea what would or would not work, I purchased some oil paint, and then randomly chose a few other liquid dyes. How to Make a Full Belly Dance Skirt: 9 Steps. When talking about fashion and the word ‘Bohemian’ or ‘Boho’ comes about, one would immediately think layered, free flowing and natural because these are what would best describe the Bohemian style and fashion.

Knowing Boho Jewelry Better - Glam Bistro

Along with bohemian clothing, one other key to successfully dressing in full Boho style is the use of Boho jewelry. Boho jewelry has distinct characteristics. You may see them being used in styles and trends other than Bohemian as there is really no such thing as ‘strictly Bohemian’ jewelry. Most of the time, these pieces are made from natural material such as wood and metal and very rarely will you see plastic accessories being used. In this article you will find a guide on knowing Boho jewelry better. All natural – as mentioned previously, Boho jewelry is often made from things that are found in nature. Layered – the same trend on layering Bohemian clothing applies to Boho jewelry. Accessorizing with Bohemian jewelry is not really all that difficult, you see. DIY ♛ Princess Headbands.

When I was little I was a huuuge lover of playing dress up.

DIY ♛ Princess Headbands

After forcing my brothers to don capes and armor, I’d dress up in lingerie slips, glittery flats and sparkly headbands and begin Act I of the play Rescue Sonia from the Evil Wizard. Now that I’m “all grown-up” (yeah, right…) I don’t think I stand a chance in getting my brothers to dress up as knights in shining armor, but that doesn’t mean I can’t dress up like a princess from time to time. I already own a vintage slip (see here) and glittery heels, so all that was left on my “princess checklist” was the sparkly headband. However, instead of spending a fortune on just one twinkly headpiece, I decided this was a perfect opportunity for a DIY! 50+ Cute & Crafty Headbands To Make: {Free Patterns.
