There's a lot of misconception when it comes to "barbecue." The problem is the word itself. It's used as a synonym for grilling, refers to the grill itself, or to the meat being grilled; it also has a sauce named after it; and sometimes it's just the word for the party itself held outdoors in somebody's backyard. What, actually, is "barbecue"? American purists see things a little differently.

Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese Sandwich - StumbleUpon

http://www.closetcooking.com/2011/08/buffalo-chicken-grilled-cheese-sandwich.html After the success of turning jalapeño poppers into grilled cheese sandwiches (aka the jalapeño popper grilled cheese sandwich ) I was wondering what other dishes I could turn into grilled cheese sandwiches. The basic idea is to take all of the flavours of a food that I am already totally into and use them in a grilled cheese sandwich. It did not take me too long to think of something perfect and it is interesting that it is also classic bar food, buffalo chicken wings, which are also one of my favourites. Buffalo chicken wings are chicken wings that are tossed in a spicy hot sauce and they are commonly served with a side of carrot and celery sticks with a blue cheese dip. I knew exactly where I was going to start with the buffalo chicken grilled cheese sandwich and that was with a quick buffalo chicken salad. I made the buffalo chicken salad by mixing shredded chicken with some mayo, carrots, celery, red onion and and a healthy dose of hot sauce.

I call this magic sauce. In part, because it makes everything it touches shimmer with deliciousness. It's magic like that. Technically, it's a riff on a chimichurri sauce - one that veered off the rails in a big way. Much tweaking has rendered it a distant second cousin. If that. http://www.101cookbooks.com/archives/magic-sauce-recipe.html

In case you're really dumb and haven't figured that out yet.

Remember those meatballs I made for a “special idea” on Friday? Here is that idea, Spaghetti and Meatball Pot Pie. I took the concept and figured if pizza was a good pot pie, then spaghetti and meat balls would be too.
