Inspired by both nature and mandalas, Klein has found her own unique way of expressing the beauty and abundance of her surroundings. She uses all sorts of natural finds to represent the ancient Hindu and Buddhist spiritual symbols. The resulting geometric art pieces she calls Danmala, a word based on the Vedic Sanskrit words dān (“the giver”) and mālā (“garland of flowers”), which translates to “the giving of flower circles”.
