At the Taronga Zoo in Sydney, Australia, a great deal of excitement surrounds the latest addition to the resident family of Francois' langur monkeys. A male Francois' langur named Keo-co was born Jan. 30 and ventured into an outdoor enclosure for the first time on Wednesday. Keo-co's older sister, Elke, was born in 2009 and was the first offspring for mother Saigon.

Officer Clayton Holmes said he had stopped to work on a report when he felt his car shaking. He got out to investigate and what he found was a bulldog chewing on his patrol car.
"Fortunately for us, the woman took him to a vet, they scanned him and got in touch with the microchip people. They said the only thing we have got on this scan is this dog was stolen five years ago. "When I rang the lady she said 'What did you say his name was?' I told her and she repeated it and then said 'Oh goodness, his ears pricked up'. He remembered his name." After returning home, Iggy found that he had a new doggie playmate, Odie.
A hibernating dormouse curls up in the palm of a hand, blissfully unaware he has just been rescued from almost certain death in sub-zero temperatures. 'They had seen a dormouse earlier in the year by their compost heap and suspected it may be a nest so they covered it with cuttings and called me. 'It will have a good supply of fruit, hazelnuts and sunflower seeds when it wakes and once it has been fed up it will be released back into the garden.'
