By HomeBrewing.com Staff Check out our pictographic of the all-grain homebrew process. There are many different styles and methods for all-grain brewing, but this is one of the most common for the hobby. All-Grain home brewing is a bit more complex than brewing with extracts and you will need more equipment than what you use for extract brewing. Instead of using malt extract, you are going to make your own extract from malted barley and other grains. What are the advantages of this?

Limoncello Recipe

Limoncello While searching for a good recipe for Limoncello, I found a lot of conflicting information. Some recipes use vodka, others use grain alcohol (without specifying the potency, which varies) and others even used rum! The alcohol-to-water-to-sugar ratios also varied widely, and it made me wonder if people had typos in the recipes, or were just posting a recipe they had never even tasted! So I started with the premise that grain alcohol will extract the most lemon oil and flavor from lemon zest. http://www.sas.upenn.edu/~scheydec/limoncello.html

How to Make Beer (Cheaply, Simply): Step-By-Step Guide

http://www.popularmechanics.com/home/how-to-plans/4324487-step-2-make-the-mash#slide-7 Making a mash is not always necessary--you can brew a perfectly good lager or ale with prepackaged malt extract. But for this recipe, we're going all out, with an all-grain beer-- we extract the sugars from the grain ourselves. The recipe we're following is for a beer in the Belgian white or "wit" sytle. It's called "Wit Ginger, Not Mary Ann," and was published by the esteemed beer-brewing magazine, Zymurgy. Ingredients: 11 pounds of grain 11 quarts of water

Aurora Jungle-Juice

http://www.thecampuscompanion.com/party-lab/2011/10/21/aurora-drink/ Aurora is TCCs black light phosphorescent take on jungle-juice. Originally conceived in 2006, it is a drink that is pink in natural light, but glows aqua-marine in black-light. Thus, it represents the two main colors of the aurora-borealis. So, without further ado here is the recipe.
http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/member/views/PINK-PANTY-DROPPERS-50035361 This makes a great fizzy pink lemonade. It's definitely one of my must have summer staples. If it's hot, you're low on cash, and want to have a lot of fun, this is the answer! It makes just shy of 5 gallons, so it can serve a TON of people. Each drink packs a heavy whallop to your head, so you really don't need much per person.

Web's Best: Whiskey Drinks

Unlike The Most Interesting Man in the World, we almost always drink beer. When we don’t, however, our go to liquor is whiskey. What can we say, bourbon is neat (little whiskey humor). While we usually just pour a few fingers and relax, sometimes we like to get a tad more creative.

So I have a new hire who is about to bartend her first bartending shift and I was about to e-mail her 30 drinks every bartender should know and looking for a list (so I wouldn’t have to make it) and almost every list I found was absolutely ridiculous. For example, one site listed the Bocci Ball (don’t know what it is, probably never will as in 12 years no one has ever ONCE asked me for one). Or the Freddy Fudpacker (aka The Cactus Banger) – once again NEVER HEARD anyone order either of these ever ONCE. I’m not naming any drinks on this list where the ingredients are the name i.e. vodka tonic, amaretto sour, or gin and juice. 1.
