What Happens To Our Brains When We Exercise And How It Makes Us Happier. Exercise has been touted to be a cure for nearly everything in life, from depression, to memory loss, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s and more. At the same time, similar to the topic of sleep, I found myself having very little specific and scientific knowledge about what exercise really does to our bodies and our brains. “Yes, yes, I know all about it, that’s the thing with the endorphins, that makes you feel good and why we should exercise and stuff, right?” Is what I can hear myself say to someone bringing this up. I would pick up things here and there, yet really digging into the connection of exercise and how it effects us has never been something I’ve done.

Inspired by a recent post from Joel on what makes us happy I’ve set out to uncover the connection between our feeling of happiness and exercising regularly. What triggers happiness in our brain when we exercise? Masaru emoto. In all of these experiments, distilled water for hospital usage produced by the same company was used.

Since it is distilled twice, it can be said that it is pure water. The result was that we always observed beautiful crystals after giving good words, playing good music, and showing, playing, or offering pure prayer to water. On the other hand, we observed disfigured crystals in the opposite situation. Moreover, we never observed identical crystals. I published these results as photograph collections: “Messages from Water 1” (1999), “Messages from Water 2” (2002), “Messages from Water 3” (2004), and “Messages from Water 4” (2008). This world is filled with wonders and mysteries that get more incomprehensible if we try to think of a reason.

Thus, except for some of truly basic things, no one disagrees that there are still so many unknowns. Combination of non-resonating vibration can result in destructive energy, and nothing can be created out of it. World History Timeline Middle East History 3500 BC.

John Venn's 180th birthday: Google doodle commemorates the inventor of the Venn diagram

The internet giant has devised one of its iconic moving illustrations to commemorate the life of the philosopher, best known for creating the Venn diagram. In the diagram, circles are used to visually and logically sort groups to illustrate their relationships to each other. For example, one circle may contain things that are mammals. The other circle may contain things that have wings. The overlapping space that both circles occupy would consist of mammals that have wings.

The doodle allows internet users to choose two circles, which then overlap. The metallobiology of neuromelanin pigment in the human brain studied by synchrotron X-ray microspectroscopy. Neuromelanin is a dark coloured granular pigment which forms within dopamine and noradrenaline-containing neurons of the substantia nigra (SN) pars compacta and the locus coeruleus in the human brain (Figure 131a).

Little is known about this uniquely human pigment; its structure, biosynthesis pathway and physiological functions are not yet completely understood. We have recently demonstrated that neuromelanin production in human dopamine neurons occurs in three phases; an initiation phase occurring around the age of three, growth in pigment volume during adolescence and maturation and darkening of the pigment in adulthood [1].

One hypothesised role for neuromelanin is metal homeostasis; metal-handling systems are suggested to be dysfunctional in a number of neurodegenerative diseases. Interestingly, neuromelanin-containing neurons degenerate dramatically in the common neurodegenerative disorder Parkinson’s disease. Reference [1] K.L. Principal publication and authors S. A contest to add an eighth to the classic seven wonders of the ancient world is now underway and running until September 30 at Virtualtourist.com/8thwonder. 3D reconstruction of a moonrise over the Newark Earthworks. The Newark Earthworks are indeed a wonder. Deep inside the unassuming borders of what is today Ohio sits a complex of earthworks aligned so precisely with the rise and set of the moon that modern surveying equipment could not do better. And this summer, lots of public events means you can enjoy and marvel, as the ancients must have done. The 2,000-year-old site in what is now Newark, Ohio, is the largest geometric earthworks complex in the world, with approximately 12-foot-high, grass-covered earthen walls outlining huge circles and other forms.
