I made it last year, before I was a blogger, and did not keep a source for it. Then, as I was reading Today's Creative Blog a week ago, she showed a picture of my inspiration piece. Whew, now I can give credit to Made for this adorable banner. You will notice that I did not sew around each felt bunny as she did. I tried, but they did not appear as perfect as hers, so I resorted to sewing a line through the ears onto my grosgrain ribbon.

If you are drooling over that little set up there, Gordon surprised me with the blue vase {from Tiffany} on our 3rd anniversary. Gordon designed and built the book shelves, added the fireplace, laid the tiles and regrouted twice. Okay, back to the reason for this post. Here you can see where I just sewed the bunny through the ears to the ribbon. Tutorial: Scrap Buster Fall Pillow. Tutorial time! I got a gig teaching a recycled t-shirt project at the library a few months ago, with a request for a recycled tee bag – the only bags I’d made from tees in the past had required sturdy sewing, and I didn’t want hand-sewing to be the only thing holding the bottom closed in a class version of the bags, so I started brainstorming about some kind of hand-sewing-friendly or no-sew bag idea…. and here’s what I came up with! The simplest version of these bags is great for smaller tees, or the more light-weight kind of girl-tees – just turn the bottom of the shirt into a drawstring and tie it closed!
