Let’s be honest, any time is a good time for snowman themed projects. They are so cute and irresistible! I’ve come up with some snowman heads (based on my Snowman Sack pattern) and they are so versatile that I think you could use them for many different projects. I have a specific project in mind and will show you that soon…But just to throw out some ideas, you could use these as bunting/garland, interior decor, little plush toys – especially if you crochet a body and make them a bigger snowman, hanging charms/oversized keychains, ornaments, lovey blanket topper, game of toss or snowball fight, and much more!

Use any color for the hats and make lots of these for the holidays! Finished size is approximately 4×4 inches. Snowman Belly Pot Holder - Free Crochet Pattern » Blackstone Designs. I have now (October 2014) revised this page and included the US & UK versions on the same page. I have also added charts. The Pattern 2 bookmark is my preferred version as pictured above. I have not included the cord at the top in the charts as I am sure you can add a cord or tassel as you prefer. The bookmarks made with the #10 crochet cotton are 12cm (4.75 ins) tall and 9cm (3.5 ins) wide whereas the ones made with #20 cotton are 11cm (4.25 ins) tall and 7.5 cm (3 ins) wide not including the tag and tassel. If they come out larger you need to chose a smaller hook than the one I have suggested.
