Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette Comparisons (Naked, Naked 2, Naked 3)

I'm sure a few of you are wondering with this new Urban Decay Naked 3 palette release if it's a worthwhile purchase. As this is their third in the Naked series, I feel like it's pretty important to see how this one compares to the previously released Naked and Naked 2 palettes. Right off the bat you can see that the Naked 3 has an overall rose gold theme with 12 eyeshadows in a gorgeous, wave-textured tin case. Each palette has 12 shadows generally flowing from light to dark. The current selling palettes all come with a synthetic eyeshadow brush (Naked is single-ended while 2 and 3 include dual-ended brushes). Generally speaking, Naked has mostly warm neutrals, Naked 2 is in the neutral-to-taupe range with more drastic light and dark shadows, and Naked 3 is distinctly more pink with a lot of mid-to-light shades.

LORAC Pro Palette Review & Swatches

Today I wanted to share a review of one of my most-used products lately, the LORAC Pro Palette. I first heard about this palette from several Youtube girls absolutely raving about it so you know I had to pick it up myself and see what all the fuss was about. Any palette that boasts a plethora of matte shades intrigues me so I knew I had to have it! Does it live up to the hype? Let's take a look! This neutral eyeshadow palette has 16 total colors with the top half being matte and bottom half satin/shimmer shades. Pink Sith: LORAC Unzipped Palette - Review, Pictures, Swatches. REVIEW & SWATCHES: All Urban Decay Revolution Lipsticks

To be completely honest, this was one of those moments. I had been hearing for years that Urban Decay was planning on revamping their lipsticks but I had no idea that they would go from their previous dagger-clad edgy design to the classy gunmetal bullet that is out now. This might be due to the fact that this product may not be targeted for my skin's needs. I don't have problems with large pores or easily irritated, dry skin, but I do have combination, breakout-prone skin that can get red when healing. This isn't an awful product in the sense that it made my skin worse, but I just didn't see any significant results at all. Still has the cute, easy spray packaging all other UD sprays have, so that's a plus.

Unlike other makeup removers that I've used I find myself having to do multiple swipes of this stuff. It also stings my eyes when I use it to remove eye makeup. If this is standard performance of this stuff I have to say it is definitely not worth the hefty price tag. Sephora MicroSmooth Baked Sculpting Trio. By the Muse on July 22, 2013 PR Sample Did I tell you the way I like wearing bronzer?

Sephora MicroSmooth Baked Sculpting Trio

Blush! That’s my key! Which is why the Sephora MicroSmooth Baked Sculpting Trio is ideal for bronzer haters like me as it contains a luminizer, matte satin blush, and bronzer to highlight, get color, and glow onto your cheeks in one easy compact. Do like! Available in two shade selections the Sephora MicroSmooth Baked Sculpting Trio ($20) is a three in one formula to effortlessly contour, blush, bronze, and highlight your face in a few steps. These baked powders include a luminizer for your cheekbones, a super smooth silky matte satin blush for cheeks, and a matte satin bronzer you can use the contour and define.

The powder is split into three separate shades and are just large enough that you can wriggle your blush into them without running into the other shade. Sephora MicroSmooth Baked Sculpting Trio in Sweet. It’s no secret that the Sephora MicroSmooth Baked collection of blushes, bronzers and highlighters rocks- every single product I’ve tried with the baked formula has been incredible!

Sephora MicroSmooth Baked Sculpting Trio in Sweet

I was so excited to see that this summer, Sephora threw them all together in a single compact to create these Sephora MicroSmooth Baked Sculpting Trios ($20 USD / $23 CAD)- available in four shade varities. Each compact is divided into three equal parts, featuring a matte bronzer, a satin blush and a shimmery highlighter. Sephora MicroSmooth Baked Sculpting Trio in Sweet Note the size I might be a little biased, but this compact in Sweet is totally the best one (I haven’t tried the others, but these three shades are just so perfect)! The pigmentation is lovely, the texture is smooth and blendable and all three shades work in such beautiful harmony. This product would make for an excellent travel buddy- taking the place of bronzer, blush and highlighter all in a compact that can fit in your pocket. NYX powder blush 1. Seven!!!

After receiving all my blushes I'm ready to finally do a review and swatch of them! Overall the blushes are very well pigmented (in comparison to what I used to use which included Revlon, Physicians Formula and other miscellaneous department store gift blushes).

These blushes are also extremely inexpensive (I paid an average of $5.50/USD for each blush). Here's a picture of my current collection (from left to right, top to bottom): NYX powder blush 7.
