Magnet Make-up Holder. We all know with craft blogs that original ideas are often hard to come by, we find ideas we love and make them our own but we didn't come up with the idea ourselves.

Magnet Make-up Holder

I feel like I've finally done something original here and I'm excited about it. I'll show you the finished product and then explain. Behold my Make-up Magnet Board. I have a friend who is beautiful and stylish and has always loved make-up but recently took a course that intensified her love. Her renewed interest has worn off on me and it made me remember eye shadows I'd hidden away that were gathering dust. The basket was a mess and I was overwhelmed with all my choices never knowing what to use, digging through to see what I had and find what I wanted was a pain. I painted it (The hard way, with a brush instead of spray paint. I went to the hardware store and picked up some metal and had them cut it to fit inside my frame. Here comes the brilliant part though.

Cooling Aloe-Mint Body Lotion - Lifestyle. This lotion is perfect for summertime because of the ‘cooling effect’ of the aloe and mint. It’s perfect after a long day on your feet. I particularly love it massaged into my legs and feet after a day hiking in the mountains. With the warmer temperatures finally arriving, I wanted a light moisturizer with a cooling effect. I use coconut oil as a moisturizer year round, but sometimes I just need a little moisturizing not the full coconut conditioning. I think a 50:50 ratio of coconut oil to aloe vera has been the perfect amount with just enough moisturizing. Tip: to get the beeswax off your grater, pour boiling water over the surface and watch it melt away. I like to have all of my ingredients ready to go before I start.

This mixture will look too thin, but it thickens up as it cools. Enjoy all summer long! Cooling Mint-Aloe Body Lotion Author: GI 365 Serves: 1 cup ¼ cup grated beeswax ½ cup coconut oil ½ aloe vera ⅛ Teaspoon peppermint oil. Homemade Wax. Centuries ago in ancient Egypt, Cleopatra and her handmaidens discovered a secret beauty treatment that magically and painlessly got rid of unwanted hair…and this recipe was lost for years until recently discovered.

At least that’s what the television infomercial declared years ago when I first became aware of body sugaring. Cream. By Cybele Hormones seem to be sending my skin into a tailspin.

Cream

The other day I tried some fancy hand cream at the shop and broke out in a rash. I had the same problem with a pimple gel I was using to fix another hormone issue and ditto, for the shampoo I’ve been using for ages. I haven’t been this sensitive for years. Ridiculous. I have resolved to only use potions where I know the ingredients, thankfully this seems to be working and my skin has settled down again.

Sourcing hand cream ingredients This hand cream recipe is easy, however some of the ingredients are not found in the average pantry. Eyeshadow 2 Lip Gloss & Nail Polish. Have you started submitting entries to our sweet Buxom Photo Contest yet?

Well... basically it’s a sugar and coffee scrub. I love it! Especially because the coffee has such great benefits for your skin. Coffee and Caffeine are showing up all over in beauty products due to their tightening and antioxidant effects on the skin. Caffeine, works on skin in the three primary ways: as a vasoconstrictor, an antioxidant, and a diuretic. Guess what! Clean Brushes

D would probably argue that between the makeup and the nail polish I should try to find a 12 step program. But I can’t help it, it’s so fun to try out new colors or techniques, even if I’m not planning to leave the house. But when I do leave the house, I pretty much always have makeup on. Whether it’s just some concealer and mascara quickly before work, or a dark smokey eye for a night out with friends. It’s like art for your face! So if you’re like me and you use makeup, you probably also use makeup brushes – for blush, eye shadow, foundation, etc. The good news is, you can do a monthly deep clean of your brushes using stuff you probably already have in your kitchen!

You will need: dish soapolive oila platewater (not pictured)paper towel or dish towel (not pictured)dirty, dirty makeup brushes The soap will remove the bacteria/grease/color left on your brushes while the olive oil helps to condition the brush bristles and keep them from drying out. Acne = Health.
