PROGRAMMATION ET ROBOTIQUE EN EDUCATION Les technologies sont de plus en plus présentes aujourd’hui dans notre société baignée par les nouvelles technologies. Ainsi, apprendre ce qu’est le codage et, encore plus, apprendre à coder apparaît comme étant de plus en plus important pour tous. C’est même primordial et prioritaire pour les jeunes élèves qui vivront dans un monde encore plus imprégné par le numérique et ses multiples applications. Plusieurs initiatives ont alors vu le jour pour amener les utilisateurs, et en particulier les élèves, à apprendre à programmer. Ce site propose un tour d’horizon des logiciels, applications et même robots, qui rendent ces apprentissages plus accessibles. Il se veut être un partage des ressources et des connaissances sur la question de l’apprentissage de la programmation aux élèves, notamment par un retour d’expérience sur différents projets menés par la Chaire de recherche du Canada sur les technologies de l’information et de la communication (TIC) en éducation. COVID-19 Response: Complimentary Socrative Pro & Showbie Pro for Schools Movi... Yesterday I announced that we were launching a program to help schools move to a virtual learning setup using our Showbie and Socrative apps. In this message, I promised to give Showbie and Socrative free to Schools through the end of July 2020. I intended to offer our apps to all interested schools in order to help everyone get through the most critical phase of the Coronavirus pandemic. Earlier today, many of our customers began formally learning from home, relying on our systems to form their virtual classroom. Within minutes of the start of school, hundreds of thousands of students and teachers flooded into Showbie to begin their distance learning activities. Unfortunately, the surge of traffic completely overwhelmed our systems and took them down. When we made our offer yesterday, we did so with the sincere intent to help the global education community in a time of great need. Schools Districts I hope you can accept my sincere apologies. Vinkkejä kotitekoisiin pakohuoneisiin Olen aina rakastanut kaikenlaisia ongelmanratkaisutehtäviä ja nyt olen tietenkin onneni kukkuloilla, kun Suomeen on noussut niin paljon pakohuoneita. Niiden innoittamana olen kehitellyt omiakin pakohuoneita. Ongelmana on se, että pakohuone pitäisi tehdä paikkaan, jossa ei ole kauheasti mitään muuta (esim. lastenhuone tai koululuokka on superhuono paikka perinteiseen pakohuoneeseen. Nyt olen kuitenkin kehitellyt Ikea-kassiin mahtuvan pakohuonesysteemin, jota voi suorittaa isokin joukko samaan aikaan. Idea on siinä, että joukkue saa pahvilaatikon (minulla on ollut koululle tulleita ipad-laatikoita), jonka sisällä on erilaisia vinkkejä ja vinkkien avulla pitää ratkaista tietty määrä koodeja.
