adele Oh I love it!! I am blonde, but not sure I would dare do this to my own hair!!!! 07-20-11 » 10:03 am » Addie I absolutely LOVE this…. and if something went wrong, all you have to do is cut it off… Although, from experience, coloring blonde hair is not as great as you would expect… the color fades way faster than you would think b/c when you bleach darker hair, it kind of damages it, so the color really soaks into the hair, with blonde hair, it isnt damaged, so it doesnt soak in as well…Im such a nerd, sorry 07-20-11 » 10:08 am » Paige Seriously wishing I was blonde right about now to do this to my tips! Or would it still look cool with brown hair? 07-20-11 » 10:10 am » Kelly i’m dark brown and would try it if my hair were a bit a longer – i say go for it! 07-20-11 » 10:17 am » Sara I absolutely ADORE this look.

How To Style Maiden Braids Last month I did a makeover story with Kelsie and had many requests for a maiden braid tutorial. Yesterday she came in and we photographed these simple step by steps. Kelsie has extremely long and thick hair, but anyone with shoulder length or longer can do these braids (see my photo below for an example). Steps 1-2: Braid two strands on each side of a center part. Steps 3-5: Wrap braids around the crown of your head and pin in place with one pin each. Step 6: Arrange braids so that they cover the front of your head like a headband.

Sea of Shoes: HAIR HOW-TO I am sometimes asked how I style my hair, and while my method is far from perfect, I thought I'd show you how! Subscribe and save Button Statment Rings It’s September and that means it’s time to add another statement piece to your collection…. obviously! I heart almost every piece Nicole Richie designs for House Of Harlow 1960, especially her oversized rings. As amazing as these rings are they’re also an easy DIY. My friend Jenni, from I Spy DIY, did a project a few months back where she transformed buttons into earrings. Makeup Savvy: Dazzle Dust Nail Tutorial - StumbleUpon I've been wanting to try out paint splattered nails for ages now, however it seems like alot of hard work and also kind of messy! So me being supposedly 'savvy' and all I came up with a probably just as messy idea...but slightly more fun and prettier. Also it looks alot more delicate than having a paint splattered effect and alot less nail arty and more wearable. Now like I say... it is kind of messy so you will need at least one face wipe/baby wipe and something to do it on like the back of a magazine. Also your nail polish of choice and a pigment or dazzle dust!

obsessions Beauty Bites post + photography + graphic design by Norah Curlee Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but let’s face it, in the mornings we’d rather spend what little time we have getting the perfect lash curl or tousled wave.
