Magic. Kitchen Witchery is a simple, eclectic Pagan practice that can pull its resources from a variety of religions and practices.

It is does not involve a lot of ritual or set up; it is earth-based and focuses on hearth and home. The center of life for a Kitchen Witch is family, hearth and home. We would celebrate the Rite of Her Sacred Fires. Last year, after my ritual, I went to leave my offerings at the hedge and found a toad in my path, waiting and unafraid. This time, a toad again made an appearance as I walked to the car. She waited for me to take notice and say a few words, then hopped off into the bushes.
