It is does not involve a lot of ritual or set up; it is earth-based and focuses on hearth and home. The center of life for a Kitchen Witch is family, hearth and home.

Her Sacred Fires

I gathered my wand, cauldron, Hekate's statue and other paraphernalia, then out the door I went to drive to meet Raven. We would celebrate the Rite of Her Sacred Fires. Last year, after my ritual, I went to leave my offerings at the hedge and found a toad in my path, waiting and unafraid. This time, a toad again made an appearance as I walked to the car. She waited for me to take notice and say a few words, then hopped off into the bushes. http://witchofstitches.blogspot.com/search/label/Her%20Sacred%20Fires

Dry Hair Relief

This is a remedy for dry hair that you have probably come across before in your searches for what to do inexpensively and naturally for your parched tresses. It is a simple, yet effective mixture of items that may already be in your kitchen or that can easily be bought at the store. Banana, Avocado, and a touch of olive oil are mashed to create a deep conditioner that is to be massaged into hair and allowed to do its thing for at least ten minutes. I have used this dry hair remedy/concoction many times, and it is so very moisturizing.

1). Attunement/Enchantment---psychically infusing the herbal mixture with a mental picture of your need. 2). Bath (Spiritual/Herbal)---used to cleanse body, mind, and spirit by empowering the properties of the herbs and placing in the bath water through means of a sachet or infusion.
The Harvest season is in full swing, the Equinox just around the corner, which makes now the last chance for harvesting herbs before the Winter cold sets in. In assuring the highest quality herbs for your magickal and medicinal uses, there are a few things to keep in mind when it comes to harvesting. At this time of year, one of my favorite things to do is to grab my basket and head out into the woods and fields to pick wild edibles for meals. In fact, they can become quite the staple for us, being added to nearly every meal. http://www.ladyalthaea.com/1/category/kitchen%20witchery/1.html

Free Wiccan Ritual: Cleansing the Aura

Cleansing of the Aura By Theresa Chaze There are times when everyone encounters negative or unproductive situations that leave traces on our auras. It can lead to illness or depression.
I make this potion on the full moon each month and put it in a vinegar bottle so I can sprinkle it over the door step each day. It’s easy (that’s how I like my magick), cheap to make and seems to do the trick. One thing though, I’ve found it attracts more prosperity during the waning moon than the waxing. Any theories on this?

One said my fiction was uncultured, unliterary, unworthy… a slap on his highbrows. The other implied my non-baby-eating witches were not real enough for her mythology. Their speculative analysis of my last tale, suggested I’ve wasted scholarly writing skills. I write sexy. My heroines are big breasted, big gunned and big brained.
