C’est le titre de mon dernier ouvrage publié chez publie.net (maison d’édition numérique fondée par François Bon). Regroupant différents articles publiés ici ou là entre 2005 et 2011, cet essai, qui s’inscrit dans la collection Art, pensée & Cie dirigée par Sébastien Rongier, a pour objet l’étude des pratiques artistiques et amateurs du point de vue l’esthétique. The pictures are respectively histological ( a, c - basic fuchsin staining), microradiographic ( b ) and polarized light ( d ) images of undecalcified sections of bone biopsies, six months after nacre ( N ) implantation. NB indicates newly formed bone. Comparison of the histological and the microradiographic images of the same section ( a and b , respectively) show newly formed bone (low X-ray density) throughout the nacre (high X-ray density) implant. They are tightly welded together without intervening fibrous tissue, as shown in c .
