Le concept de bien commun a pris une place importante dans le champ médiatique depuis l’attribution en 2009 du prix (de la Banque royale de Suède en sciences économiques en mémoire d’Alfred) Nobel à la politologue étasunienne Elinor Ostrom. Cette dernière a produit une oeuvre scientifique immense démontrant magistralement que de nombreux biens communs (des ressources naturelles et des ressources culturelles) peuvent être bien gérées localement par des communautés très diverses qui se fabriquent des normes ad hoc pour éviter l’effondrement de leurs ressources (autrement appelé « la tragédie des biens communs »). Ostrom montre qu’il n’y a pas de recette toute faite, mais qu’il y a bien des principes de base récurrents [1].

All of these revelations come from the works of two scientists, Harvard's Nicholas Christakis and U.C. San Diego's James Fowler. A map for the Archaic Revival This article appeared in Entheogenesis Australis (EGA) Journal 3 – 2011/2012 (December 2011) Introduction In 1974, American professor of psychology Dr Clare W Graves wrote an article for The Futurist magazine titled Human Nature Prepares for a Momentous Leap. Graves described an impending change in human consciousness that would be, in his words: ‘…the most difficult, but at the same time the most exciting transition the human race has faced to date. It is not merely a transition to a new level of existence but the start of a new “movement” in the symphony of human history.’
His claim wasn’t just speculation though, it was based on seven years of field research plus almost 20 years of data analysis. Dr Graves’ findings provide a credible map for what philosopher and psychedelic pioneer Terence McKenna called The Archaic Revival. One of the special gifts Dr Graves brought to the field of developmental psychology was his ability at pattern recognition. Figure 1.
