Turn a Onesie into a Bubble Dress

I’ve been digging through my kiddos’ drawers and finding the “too small” items that need to be weeded out and then deciding what needs to be donated and what can be………….salvaged. And well, babies always seem to have plenty of onesies that get a little snug in the length but still fit in the top. So why not give them a few more months of use and adjust them just a bit. Here’s one idea that I used for my little girl: Making a little Bubble Dress doesn’t get any easier than this.

There’s something about that little bubble layer on the bottom that adds more fulness but also looks so clean and polished. Ten Genius Things You Can Do With A Glue Gun. 6.

I used to believe that a person could never have too many books, or too many bookmarks. But what a person can always look for more of is really cool unique bookmarks. Placeholders special enough for the books that are special enough to remain in your culled-out-of-spacial-necessity collection. Page corner bookmarks are cute, practical and deeply under-represented in the world.* They’re easy to make, easy to customize, and will set you apart from all those same-same flat rectangular bookmarks. If you like this tutorial, here are a couple others that might be up your alley. For the monster-loving adults in the room, try some googly-eyed paper monster wine charms.

Crochet. Citrus Coasters. Ever since the weather turned warm, I've had visions of pink lemonade and iced tea with lime wedges dancing in my head.

Citrus Coasters

Summer also puts me in the mood to entertain so I thought it would be fun to have a set of coasters to match this citrus drink theme. I love to have a summer sewing project that is portable so I can take it with me to the beach! Felt is often my material of choice for portable projects since it's ideal for hand sewing. It's also great for making durable home items like these cheerful coasters.

For this project we used our Spring Felt Bundle because the bright colors reminded us of real citrus fruits. I love that each coaster is slightly different from the next due to the handsewing.
