We have gathered 32 Chewing Gum Package Designs and we think that they will simply make your mouth wash. There are 5 big producers worldwide: Wrigley, Cadbury, Lotte, Perfetti Van Melle and Hershey’s. The first two account for a massive 61% percent of the market. There are two extronidarily beautiful things happening in this iPhone video by Patrick Colpron . The first is a spectacular six-sail kite designed and flown by Steve Polansky , and second is a heart-achingly wonderful song called Lighthouse by Patrick Watson . What a perfect moment in time, sort of an impromptu video poem. While I truly appreciate the need for any kid to get dirty in a sandbox or let their imagination run wild in a field of mud puddles (something I was doing myself only an hour ago), I love to see how technology like a Kinect 3D camera can create new interactive environments and games. http://www.thisiscolossal.com/

http://thefoxisblack.com/ I think what’s particularly delightful about this small, boxy Police Station designed by Klein Dytham is that it turns the ubiquitous parapet into a kind of urban-scaled optic toy. The tall, white wall around the roof of the project is punctuated with cutouts that let folks walking or driving by the station see the shifting spectrum of colors painted behind the perforated wall. The project is appropriately extroverted (who really wants to spend too much time inside a police station?)

Last weekend a new website was launched that is dedicated to arguably the best, and certainly one of the most prolific, British poster artists of all time, the great Tom Chantrell . Whilst there are several ‘big’ titles Chantrell is known for, including the iconic Star Wars artwork that was used around the world and the brilliant quad for One Million Years BC , his long career saw him illustrate what is thought to be close to 800 pieces of finished art. His brilliant designs and painting added immeasurably to a plethora of sci-fi, horror and exploitation posters, and his gift for selling a film with one exciting, dynamic image can not be denied. The website has been put together with the full cooperation and blessing of Tom’s family, including his widow Shirley, and features an utterly brilliant biography written by Tom’s friend Sim Branaghan, the author of the essential book British Film Posters: An Illustrated History . http://www.filmonpaper.com/

Over the past seven years, at our creative agency, Access , we have worked with a number of residential and commercial property developers from Abu Dhabi to Sydney, helping them with development and strategy. Yet we see so often the sad sight of yet another mediocre building going up. http://www.thecoolhunter.net/

Unclutterer: Daily tips on how to organize your home and office.

Although I grew up spending weekends on our family farms shucking corn and talking to Bessie the Cow (all the cows had the same name, it was easier that way), I am a big-city girl at heart. I long to be in a city with a coffee shop right around the corner and pavement under my feet. And for most people, myself included, city living is synonymous with small-space living. http://unclutterer.com/

When I was growing up, canning was for old folks and cranks and separatists --oh, and for my parents, who spent every summer of my Virginia childhood scrambling to convert overflowing bushel baskets of fruits and vegetables from their garden into a pantry lined with shelf upon shelf of colorful canning jars, not to mention a stuffed-to-the-rim chest freezer or two. Not for me.

When we got a tiny glimpse of Peaches' home last year in a house call , we knew that we needed to see more. Her home has an undeniable sense of happiness and fun. She has a knack for making beautiful objects out of unusual materials, and those who read Peaches' blog have long known the kind of whimsy and charm her many DIY projects possess.
