In 2009, KSMU spoke with a woman named Cathy Myers for our Sense of Community series on mental illness. Myers was diagnosed with mental illness when she was 18 years old. Last spring, she began taking classes at Missouri State University. As this follow up to our earlier report on her, KSMU’s Samuel Crowe caught up with Myers recently, and reports on what it’s like to be a college student with a mental illness.
