Thịt bò xào - Rindfleisch in der Pfanne geschwenkt - Vietnamesisches Kochbuch. Für Ungeübte lässt sich das Fleisch besser schneiden, wenn es vorher eingefroren wurde und leicht angetaut ist. Danach wird das Fleisch mit Fischsauce, Pfeffer, kleingeschnittene Zwiebeln und Knoblauch gewürzt und mindestens 30 Minuten ziehen gelassen. Anschließend wird in einer Pfanne oder einem Wok in Öl klein gehackte Zwiebeln und Knoblauch angebraten und unter ständigem Rühren das Fleisch dazugegeben.
