In the mood for food. Amesterdão era das poucas cidades europeias que eu ainda tinha curiosidade em visitar. Combinei com mais duas amigas minhas, a MJ e a M., que vivem em Madrid, e lá fomos nós! Não começou propriamente da melhor maneira para mim, mas após uma pequena aventura que envolveu um voo perdido, uma quase viagem de comboio e uma agradável tarde no Aeroporto Sá Carneiro a ouvir jazz ao vivo, lá cheguei, na 6ª à noite, a Amesterdão. A impressão que se tem ao chegar a Amsterdam Centraal não é a melhor: eléctricos modernaços, milhares de bicicletas todas amontoadas, edifícios em obras, sinais luminosos a anunciar comida rápida (já agora, sabiam que o prato oficial de Amesterdão é batatas fritas com maionese?!) E muitas pessoas de um lado para o outro. Amesterdão é daquelas cidades onde dá gosto andar a pé. Isto é se não formos atropelados pelas centenas de bicicletas que passam por nós!
