When we bought an open concept house with no basement and no garage, we gave up a lot of storage space. Now everything from bike helmets to painting equipment has to be stashed somewhere under our roof, tucked out of sight. It’s helped us to frequently reassess our material possessions and keeps us in check at garage sales. Maybe we can buy it, but can we realistically store our purchase?

Austin Bush Photography Most Thais are familiar with khanom jeen nam ngiaw (ขนมจีนน้ำเงี้ยว), the northern Thai staple of a pork- and tomato-based broth served over thin, fresh rice noodles. Yet few are aware of the variations the dish can take across the region. In Chiang Mai, nam ngiaw is often rich and oily, and is supplemented with the dried flowers of the cotton tree; in Chiang Rai the dish is hearty and meaty, and there’s even a variant made with beef; and in Mae Hong Son, khao sen, as it’s known there, tends to be thin and tart with very little meat.

HIPSTERFOOD 7 April 2014 Δ 528 notes Δ 3 Comments This is one of those things I’ve been dying to try making for years, but never got around to it because it seemed hard. On the contrary, it only took about an hour out of my weekend and made the house smell amazing - and now I’ve made enough to last me a few weeks! So if you’re interested in drinking hot, sweet, spicy, complex chai, try this out and save yourself years (!) of just thinking about it.

Cheesy Bacon Ranch Baked Potato Slices Recipe – 7 Points Lovers of cheese, bacon and ranch unite! This AMAZINGLY delicious Cheesy Bacon Ranch Baked Potato Slices Recipe is a great way to get a lot of mileage out of a potato. Rather than a typical baked potato recipe, this potato is sliced into thin rounds and topped with melted cheese, REAL bacon crumbles and served with a Chipotle Ranch Dipping Sauce. Share the whole plate with a friend and each serving is just 7 Points +. Not bad for a nice portion of deliciousness that tastes like it’s a LOT higher in Weight Watchers Points than it is. It is the perfect junk food craving satisfier!
