Profile Mika Ninagawa Photographer / Film director Mika Ninagawa has been accredited with some prestigious photography awards including the most authoritative photography award “Kimura Ihei Photography Award”, in Japan. Her solo exhibition ‘Mika Ninagawa: Earthly Flowers, Heavenly Colors’ was one of the most talked-about topics since the exhibition recorded the highest turnout in the photography exhibition history in Japan. Her aesthetic and work extended beyond the photography itself, she went onto engaging in fashion collaboration projects with Celine and mastermind JAPAN amongst others.
In 2007, she directed her first film “SAKURAN” to start off her career as a film director. ‘MIKA NINAGAWA’, her photography book was published overseas for the first time in cooperation with Rizzoli N.Y. in 2010. Her second film “Helter Skelter” became the most searched film on the web this year and it recorded more than 2.2 billion Japanese yen at the box office. Selected Awards Selected Publications.

Réuni le 21 mars 2013 à GOBELINS, l’école de l’image - établissement d’enseignement de la Chambre de com- merce et d’industrie Paris Ile-de-France - le jury de la quinzième édition du Prix Arcimboldo Gens d’images, présidé par Jean-Luc Monterosso, a récompensé le travail de Eric Emo intitulé « Dédale ». Eric Emo recompose l’espace et transforme certains volumes.
Nouveaux contrastes couleurs et densités nouvelles finali- sent la nouvelle photographie. Il crée des passages, des interstices lumineux ou ombrés, des échappées dans un espace labyrinthique. Les personnages, éléments clés de la scène, deviennent fantômes ou silhouettes. Atmosphère, volume, personnage finissent par émerger de son désir et de son plaisir de la création. Le dossier d’Eric Emo était présenté par Gérard Links, galeriste. Eric Emo a commencé comme tireur N&B puis assistant à Connaissance des Arts avant de devenir photographe in- dépendant.
