Bobbe takes the images in-camera with the queens sporting their alter egos in full hair (and even fuller makeup) on the left side while sporting an au naturel look all on the right. The dual-beauty put forth by each of these models is fruitfully annunciated in Leland’s composition. “Through the power of hair and makeup these men are able to completely transform themselves and find their female side while simultaneously showing their male side,” Bobbe tells the Huffington Post.
To provide a little history, Bobbe backtracks to 2011′s Fall Workbook party in New York where he was introduced to Sabel one of the many vivacious queens of this project. In the process of taking over 400 pictures in the style of your blog, I visited the battered post-Hurricane Sandy New Jersey shoreline where I grew up. I visited preschools,bridges, churches, and grammar schools. I visited the homes and backyards of aunts, uncles, and grandparents. I started on the eastern shore of the state, visited the western border, and returned to the eastern shore again. I visited various moments in my life and was ultimately reacquainted with my childhood self. And in the end, the process of taking the photos was as beautiful as the result. So Dear Photograph,Thank you for reminding us of who we were, who we are, and who we are going to be.

My dancing was different. And everything is about containment is about being delicate and pretty laced into corsets whalebone stays digging into your ribs because it's not beauty if it doesn't hurt. Post-Apocalyptic Images of Japan. The ruins and haikyo aficionado in me couldn’t resist making a post about Tokyo Genso‘s fabulous art depicting post-apocalyptic Japan. The illustrations have a breathtaking otherworldly quality that perfectly capture the sort of scenes I regularly come across while exploring ruins, albeit of course, on a much grander and majestic scale. Some of the scenes really aren’t stretching the truth that much either. Head into the backstreets of Japan and you’ll quickly find dilapidated old buildings and creeping plants reclaiming man-made structures for mother nature. Apply that to the iconic landmarks of central Tokyo and other areas of Japan, and you have some gorgeous concept art for what Tokyo could look like if man were wiped from the planet.
Anyway, enough talk. I scoured the net for the biggest and best pictures. Enjoy. Photographer: Carl Crumley Summary Author: Carl Crumley; Jim Foster It seems that there's only one waterfall in the world with a flame burning beneath it. This is the Eternal Flame Waterfall, on Shale Creek, in Chestnut Ridge Park, near Buffalo, New York. A pocket of natural methane gas in an alcove below the waterfall seeps out through a fracture in the rocks. The flame goes out from time to time (it's not really eternal) but is easy to relight. Seoul-based artist Choi Xooang. Choi Xooang has a amazing capability to pull you into his work. Mixing amazing technique and utter blunt shocking images Choi is climbing my list of favorite artists. Half of his outlandish pieces are not done just for shock value but to bring awareness to human right abuses in Korea.

Es bien sabido que el papercraft, o modelo de papel, tiene numerosos seguidores en el mundillo del manga, anime y los videojuegos. Algunos crean, modelos más sencillos, como figuras cúbicas a lo Minecraft; otros, armados de paciencia, realizan trabajos más elaborados y minuciosos como maquetas de mechas y edificios.
Este último es el caso que aquí os traemos, El Castillo Ambulante de Howl recreado a escala y con todo lujo de detalles. Las torretas pueden girar, la boca se abre y se cierra y las ruedas se mueven. Pena que Cálcifer no pueda disfrutar de cerca de este trabajo. El castillo, construído con papel de 120 gramos, ha sido elaborado en una semana por una sola persona, empleándose de 6 a 7 horas diarias. 49 páginas de tamaño A4 fueron impresas para este proyecto. No es el primer trabajo de papercraft inspirado en Studio Ghibli que se muestra en la red, pero desde luego el Castillo Ambulante de Howl es de los más impresionantes.
