concept Empower local industries with local/remote designers, engineers and entrepreneurs at the fabrication workshop. Heavy industry such as car, electricals etc were only for big companies. But now, digital fabrication has become more reasonable and easy to access and a customized product for only a few people can be fabricated rather than mass production approach with reasonable cost. Fablab is a set of machining tools and digital fabrication machines such as 3D printers, shopbot, lasorcuter etc. and anyone from local community can have access to them for any purpose as long as the design is open to public.
