Budget trip to Singapore

Prior to our trip, people I know even my parents warned us that it would be very expensive to stay in Singapore, still we insisted to go coz we knew it would be fun and a memorable lifetime experience for us and we believed it would not cost us that much. Here's the proof: ACCOMMODATION per day: 15 SGD around 350 baht/person ( Urban Hostel-Backpackers inn) Location: Awesome, just adjacent to the MRT station ( Aljunied Station) There's even cheaper than this, hostels somewhere in Little India..which we found it quite crowded. TRANSPORTATION: We never used any other transpo means than bus and mrt.

Bus: always be ready with your 1 SGD coin once you get inside the bus, then don't forget to take the receipt. MRT: max to 3 SGD, but you will get back 1 SGD when you return the MRT one trip card. FOOD: Near Hostel area 1-2 SGD Tourist areas 4-5 SGD which you will never regret..it's the best food you'l get. Singapore Trip: Chinatown « Just a Piece of Me.
