6 Best Practices to Win at Social Media Promotion. Increased exposure and traffic are the top two benefits of social media promotion cited by marketers in the 2017 Social Media Marketing Industry Report. To gain those advantages, and more, for your business, consider incorporating these elements into your social media promotion strategy: Engagement is key. You want your followers to comment, like, and share your posts on social media. When they do that, it increases exposure to your content by getting more people to look at it. Balance promotion with value-add. No more than one out of every six or seven posts should be overtly promotional. Think video, video, video. The average user spends more than twice as much time on a website with video than one without, and two-thirds prefer videos of less than 60 seconds--perfect for social media! Set up complete profiles. Seems obvious, but Chris Stocker, CEO of CSI Marketing Solutions, says it's amazing how many small businesses neglect to do this.

INTENSE STUDY TIPS. Boy oh boy.... I'm going to attempt to get all of my study tips from the past and present into this post. I've been getting emails/tweets/questions asking for my secrets. Before starting... there are a few "ground rules" I will lay out. I don't have tips on how to be more motivated. For me, there's a set, clear list of things I have to do and there is a specifically defined time to doing them.
I either do them, or they don't get done. Okay...... and off we go! ONE: In class, notetaking My rule of thumb: Paying attention in class is HALF the battle. If a professor uploads slides online before the class, download them and print them out beforehand. For classes in which intensive note taking is required, a laptop may be the best option. Here is my game plan for homework: Every Friday, I crack open my binders and go through each syllabus. (this is old, from last year) Agenda. 37 Life-Changingly Useful Websites You Should Know About. As a result, I probably spent way too much time in my classes browsing productivity and website review blogs, r/InternetIsBeautiful on Reddit, and other places. Whatever lecture time I missed out on, though, I made up at least in part though finding a ton of websites that helped me be more productive as a student. Additionally, becoming a walking encyclopedia of web tools helped when it came to group projects; I was often able to suggest tools that helped my groups get work done far faster than normal. Today, I’m dipping into that knowledge pool and combining whatever I find with some additional current research. If this list isn’t enough for you, you’ll find even more websites, apps, and tools over at the Resources page, which I’m always adding things to.
