Em fevereiro, o grupo, reforçado pela adição de George Sowden e Nathalie du Pasquier, tinha feito mais de cem desenhos de móveis, lâmpadas e cerâmicas. O que Sullivan queria dizer é que entre a vida e a forma existe uma correspondência harmoniosa, a forma também nos diz o que os objetos são e o que significam, a forma comunica, tem um significado, não é só funcional.
