It has been another crazy week for me. I was out of town for work and now I am very behind in life. Sometimes I wonder if I will ever catch up. I hope to make progress this weekend, but I also want to play. It is finally supposed to be sunny in Utah and I can’t wait.

A trio of apps have come out recently that will give your spring workout a boost: Faster ($1.99) : This app, shown at right, is geared toward those who exercise outdoors and relies on GPS to be effective. You can set a distance and target time, and if your pace isn't matching the goals you set, Faster will slow down your music. There's a social aspect to it as well, with Game Center integration and the ability to earn badges and compete with friends.
As ridiculous as it sounds, I completely wore myself out this weekend by performing a series of exercises using a single medium-sized towel. If you're looking for a simple exercise routine you can do almost anywhere that requires very little time and basically no equipment, you may want to give this a try. I'm always a little wary of online exercise suggestions and the hyperbolic claims that seem to inevitably come with the territory, so I'd long ignored the INSANE (yet simple) workout plans that promised everything short of world peace and true happiness with nothing but a towel.
