17 pounds in two weeks, without much effort by kalima on Lose 10 pounds on 43 Things Breakfast is truly the most important meal of the day; not in food amount, but because it’s the first food intake, it defines how you start your day. Now, when you write that your stomach feels awful, what do you mean exactly? Are you hungry? Do you feel stomach ache? I remember that the first 3 days were difficult because the change was pretty radical from my previous morning habits. So my advice is to take a solid breakfast, it doesn’t have to be exactly like mine (2 eggs, 2 slices of bacon, 1 tomato, 1 piece of cheese, some hazelnuts), but I think you should have proteins (eggs+bacon), some moderate fat(cheese+bacon), fibers (tomato) and a small treat (nuts). I don’t drink coffee, sometimes tea, and sometimes milk. When you’re out of phase 1, you can add a couple fruits, like an apple or an orange. Finally, to answer your question about low-fat fruit yogurt, yes it has too much sugar. By the way, most low-fat products replace fat with sugar.

Baked Zucchini Sticks and Sweet Onion Dip: that bloomin' zucchini! | King Arthur Flour - Baking Banter Today, class, it being late July and all, we’re going to examine our zucchini facts: •Zucchini is always at the end of any A-to-Z food list; •Zucchini and fruitcake are the undeserving targets of many a joke; •The zucchini plant literally grows like a weed, making it absolutely ubiquitous in vegetable gardens across America; •And for that reason, enterprising cooks have discovered ways to turn it into muffins, and cake, and pancakes, and… Baked Zucchini Sticks. You know that onion appetizer that came into bloom back in the late ’80s? These zucchini sticks, with their melty-soft interior and crisp crust, are reminiscent of those onions – and equally addictive, especially when served with their special onion-mustard dip. Ready to go beyond muffins, bread, kebabs, and frittata? First, find yourself 3 medium-size zucchini, about 9″ to 10″ long. That won’t be hard at this time of the year, right? Cut each zucchini into 3″ sticks about the diameter of your finger. Process until fairly smooth.

Berry Banana Smoothie Recipe Berry Banana Smoothie Recipe It has been another crazy week for me. I was out of town for work and now I am very behind in life. Sometimes I wonder if I will ever catch up. I hope to make progress this weekend, but I also want to play. It is finally supposed to be sunny in Utah and I can’t wait. Fridays are my day off from work. I use our homemade yogurt as the base and throw in whatever fruits we have on hand. For this smoothie, I used frozen blueberries, banana, and strawberries. This smoothie is very berrylicious! Berry Banana Smoothie Ingredients:1 cup plain Greek yogurt (I use our homemade yogurt) 1/2 cup frozen blueberries 1/2 frozen banana 5 frozen strawberries Splash of skim or soy milkDirections:1.
