Voici la partie 2 du Petit Magazine de Noël : (cliquez dessus pour passer en plein écran) DIY Wedding "Hanky" Love Letters. I love the creative ways in which vintage handkerchiefs have been incorporated into weddings recently!
Whether for Save the Dates, Invitations or simply for decoration- a collection of these hankies in various floral patterns creates such a beautiful, old-fashioned aesthetic. Inspired by this concept, I designed some letter-writing paper sheets in the style of vintage hankies. Guests can pick them off a line to write little notes to the newlyweds and then hang them back up for display! In the same vein as this previous DIY where I also explored the concept of 'Love Notes', these "Hanky" Love Letters are a unique guestbook alternative for your wedding. Download the designs below and print out onto textured white stock.
Bird And Banner. Bird And Banner. Playing with letters. JooJoo Sketchbook. Crazy cool. I'm currently brainstorming for a new project.
So, while researching, I came across the amazing embroidered typography and illustrations of Australian twin sisters Maricor/Maricar. How gorgeous are these? NabeFabric. J'ai découvert ces clichés au hasard de mes ballades, merci aux photographes, tous et toutes ont fait de magnifiques photos.
Bookhou at home. Hi there, did you have a nice weekend? It was unusually warm here - the sun was beaming all weekend and it was almost warm enough to leave your coat behind. I am in the thick of show prep with the set-up being tomorrow and things are falling into place nicely. I find that when times are hectic it's nice to have a great support team and I don't think I could pull these kind things off without all the help I get from j - he's the best at personalizing my booth. I wanted a kind of peg board to display the bags, in past years I would screw wood dowels into the wall and it would leave me with little room for display variations as well it made unsightly holes in the wall, this peg wall provides so much more options.
And I couldn't get by without sewing help from my mom, she would of come sooner but she was enjoying a much deserved trip in thailand. she's a much faster sewer than I am, which says a lot, because I'm pretty fast. This new deck by Joe White follow the Contraband one.
You know Joe and his amazing detailed design as we work together on the (sold out) 2015 edition of the calendar and he designed the front cover. Every single playing card within the High Victorian deck was designed from scratch - even the Aces, Jokers, and court cards exude the grand excess of ornamentation quintessential to the Victorian era. In a word: breathtaking. Antler is a deck designed by Tom Lane, who also creates this year edition of the front cover of the letterpress calendar! This Tobacco Brown back design features two Twin Bucks enshrined within beautiful flourishes that mimic the lush forest of Yosemite National Park.
I contact Jeff Trish as I love his design of this deck, and I am pleased to say he participates in this year edition of the calendar too! As both Tom Lane and Jeff Trish participate in this year calendar I propose you 2 packs with the calendar (Deluxe or Normal) and their decks.
