La première est exclusivement dédiée aux livres, tandis que la seconde met en avant plusieurs univers culturels (livres, cinéma, séries TV, musique, jeux vidéo). Ces plateformes agrègent des avis et des évaluations, mettent les internautes en relation et proposent des moteurs de recommandation automatisée qui suggèrent des idées d’œuvres à partir de l’identification des préférences. Co-fondateur de Babelio en 2007, Pierre Fremaux travaille sur l'évaluation des projets de recherche et sur les interfaces homme-machine, tandis que Guillaume Boutin, co-fondateur de SensCritique en 2011, est responsable de la monétisation et des partenariats.

It is situated in the South of Leipzig and is very good reachable by bus or tram. The South is the cultural heart of Leipzig.
