Earlier this week D&AD celebrated their fiftieth anniversary by announcing the various agencies, designers and others who had won the most of their Pencil awards over the years. At the top of the individual designers list was David Hillman , one time Pentagram partner and the man who transformed newspaper in the eighties (above), setting it on the design-literate course it still follows today.
