Some will be riveted in place and anyone who has replaced a riveted on Sight Glass will know that getting a good seal can be a bit hit and miss. It is a huge inconvenience (to say the least) if it is necessary to take it off again for another go. Also, there are times when it is a good idea to be able to conveniently remove the sight glass to tip out an crud or bits that are rattling around in there. This is the answer. Drill out the existing two holes to 3mm and solder these in place. . * Run your Mamod engine on compressed air. * This adapter fits into the water level plug hole. * The outer thread is the same as a car tyre thread. * Provides a quick and easy way to test your engine.
