Cruft: Lasagna Cupcakes - StumbleUpon. When Intelligentsia Coffee opened in Pasadena recently, I was intrigued the lasagna cupcakes they served. The cupcakes are made by Heirloom LA, a catering business. About the size of a muffin, a single lasagna cupcake was a delicious meal. After seeing how much my daughter enjoyed them (she ate my entire cupcake and I had to order a second one), I decided I had to try making them at home.
After a bit of research, here is my method. The girls love them and take them to school as lunch. The ingredients are fairly simple. Spray or wipe the cupcake tin with olive oil for prevent sticking and add a little flavor. Once you filled in the first layer, gently press another wrapper in, forming another cup. Once you've placed the second wrapper, repeat the filling as you see fit. A bit of Mozzarella cheese on top of it all. I baked them for 20 minutes at 375° F and then come out perfectly browned. You can do pretty much anything you want as filling from more meats to a vegan version. 10 Favorite Deli and Diner Sandwich Recipes - KitchenDaily - StumbleUpon. Ranch Potatoes Recipe | Free Online Recipes | Free Recipes - StumbleUpon. Perhaps you are looking for a perfect side dish for the Holidays or to go with dinner, if so this recipe for ranch potatoes is perfect for you. This is a casserole dish that combines cubed potatoes with a ranch/cream of mushroom soup sauce, cheese, and bacon. Those ingredients alone should be enough to hint that this recipe is pretty good. I felt like I cubed the potatoes a little too big so I would recommend slicing the potatoes a little thinner. If you want to skip the step of boiling the potatoes, they can be done in the oven but will need to cook for longer depending on how big they are cut. This is a great recipe for Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner. Enjoy. Ingredients: 8-10 medium potatoes (cut into ½” cubes) 1 can cream of mushroom soup (undiluted) 1 ½ cups milk 1 envelope ranch dressing mix 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided) salt and pepper 6 bacon slices (cooked until crispy and crumbled) Cooking Instructions: Step 1: Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees.
Creamy Avocado Shells + the Clockless Oven | From the Little Yellow Kitchen - StumbleUpon. Save Someday, if you’re lucky and I feel like sacrificing our dignity, I will show you a picture of our lovely oven. Chris originally thought we should name this blog “The Timeless Kitchen” because the oven has no clock. That’s right, read ‘em and weep, literally. At some point the LYK oven’s clock shorted and started beeping uncontrollably, as our smoke alarm also tends to do. For our first few months living in the LYK we had to guess what the numbers on the temperature dial were since they had all conveniently worn off.
Please try not to be jealous of our super upscale kitchen. Now that you’ve had a peek inside the real LYK I’ll tell you about this recipe we made from Angela at Oh She Glows. Save In fact, it was so heavenly that I forced myself to swallow whole al dente pasta shells just to get some creamy, zesty, herby carbs in me — still can’t chew due to the wisdom teething. One of the first times I ever realized that – HEY! I can cook for myself! – was when I first learned to make lemonade. Anyway, there was a summer there where I made my own lemonade every single day, making sure to rub it in my sister’s face that I knew how to and she didn’t.
The key to this being the ultimate lemonade is that you blend it up with the lemon rind in there. And any time of day for that matter. To break it down for you: jello + alcohol = awesome Now when I first tell people about my obsession with jello shots I think they immediately flash back to some college party where there were two types of jello shots: green with a handle of ten dollar vodka and yellow with a handle of ten dollar rum.
The basic method is as follows: boil one cup of water, add one packet of jello, mix two minutes (don't skimp on this it will be grainy!) My basic tools. bowl and spoon for mixing, flat measuring cup for easy measuring of liquids, ladle and spouted measuring cup for filling. I get these little cups at a restaurant supply store.
