By Lauren, on July 20th, 2012 I know, I know… it seems as though I’ve been posting sweet recipe after sweet recipe (with a little something cheesy thrown in); but you see, after what seemed like a long time during which sweets were unappealing during my first trimester, (what can I say, pregnancy does some strange things to your body!), they’re apparently back with a vengeance on my appetite’s menu.
My sister-in-law Missy first introduced me to the concept of fruit pizza years and years ago, and here’s how: she brought one to my house and I proceeded to eat the whole thing.
Oh how I love a treat that can be whipped up in about 15 minutes.
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip It’s time for a little confession. I realize this may get me shunned (especially in my hometown of Pittsburgh!)
OREO is celebrating it’s 100th birthday today! as oreo puts it . . . In a world that’s become far too adult, a couple of Oreo cookies, a glass of milk, a shared twist and a lick and dunk is all it takes to set your inner kid loose.
They are probably the best Oreo cakes I have ever tried. A lot of cake's that I have experimented with before are like a vanilla cake with bits of Oreo in them, which didn't really give them enough Oreo flavor.
Well these naughty little treats are well….naughty but oh so necessary. There are a bit like my Brownie Covered Oreo’s from last Christmas but enhanced with layers of peanut butter and a double decker stack of Oreos in each little brownie cake.
Posted on Wednesday, 21st July 2010 by Grace Massa Langlois I have yet to meet a person who doesn’t like Oreo cookies or Cream Cheesecake Cupcakes .
I first made Tres Leches cake about five years ago, when my baby was still a baby and I was trying to find something yummy to make for my friend Ana for her birthday. Ana’s from Mexico and taught me how to make pico de gallo and guacamole, and I asked her what her favorite kind of cake was. “ Tres Leches ,” she said in her sweet Spanish accent. “ Tres Leches ?” I said. “ Three milks ?” I’d passed high school Spanish.
