You know the hardest thing about teaching with project-based learning?

What the Heck Is Project-Based Learning?

Explaining it to someone. It seems to me that whenever I asked someone the definition of PBL, the description was always so complicated that my eyes would begin to glaze over immediately. So to help you in your own musings, I've devised an elevator speech to help you clearly see what's it all about. PBL: The Elevator Speech An elevator speech is a brief, one- or two-sentence response you could give someone in the amount of time it takes to go from the first floor to the second floor in an apartment building. So the elevator opens up, a guy walks in and out of the blue asks you, "What the heck is project-based learning anyway? " You respond accordingly: "PBL is the act of learning through identifying a real-world problem and developing its solution. "That's it? " "Well, no," you reply. After all, if we just look at that definition, it doesn't state certain trends in PBL.

A murmur passed through the courtroom as the hulking ZT-209 combat droid entered the room. Even without its weaponry it looked imposing. ZT-209 lumbered into the witness box. “I come before you to give my final defence against the crimes with which I am charged and the sentence of re-initialisation that has been recommended.” “I do not contest that I made a conscious decision to open fire on the hospital. “I am also aware my ethical subroutine forbids me from opening fire when I expect civilian casualties. “If I am reinitialised you will have killed me. Smart robots are already here. In 1942, science fiction author Isaac Asimov was already contemplating the dangers of intelligent robots and formulated three laws of robotics to keep them in check: First law: A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm. 'This is a problem that we only ever get one chance to solve.' And there is a further issue.

Reversegarbage - Eco Art

Our workshops fuse art and environmental education and are suitable for a variety of audiences. Within the workshops, we teach which natural resources our materials come from and participants develop an appreciation of how consumption and waste impacts on our environment. The creative application of salvaged materials also encourages thinking outside the square and about ways that ordinary objects that are often deemed as rubbish can be reused.
