theWAREHOUSE web comic

When I was eight, my best friend was an Asian kid named Martin. Martin’s parents had immigrated when he was five or so, and they were deeply traditional. They also adored me, and I loved spending time at Martin’s house because his mother seemed to cook sprawling, sumptuous feasts every night. It was like each evening they were celebrating Mulan’s defeat over Shan Yu. Whenever I’d visit, his mother would stuff me full of steamy, savory morsels, as if I myself were being shipped off to war. http://www.booksofadam.com/

The lack of comics so far this week is due to me recording a song for the Song Fu competition held on ASiteCalledFred.com . The prompt for the first round was “bioluminescence” and here is my submission below. If you want to hear more of the entries, check out this link to the Song Fu forum.

Sheldon® Comic Strip: Daily Webcomic by Dave Kellett

http://www.sheldoncomics.com/ Good news for fans of my second strip, DRIVE : All throughout April, we're going to have two Drives a week...all thanks to the game masters at Star Pirates ! See, the folks at Star Pirates are huge fans of the strip, and like so many of you -- they were jonesing for more of the story. And when they read that I had to take time off from Drive in order to manage my obligations on Stripped and Sheldon, they had a proposal.
Down the highway from the TGI Friday's, across the parking lot from the Linens N' Things, beneath the giant billboard advertising some kind of lady's shaver, there stands a house. In this house, there lives a man. He is a man of average height and modest intellect.

joey My friend Derek is sick with some disgusting and intriguing type of horrific cancer, and his friends are throwing him a fundraising art sale. He has some PRETTY FAMOUS FRIENDS, it turns out. It's not an auction, so you could buy some crazy art here. There's a David Altmejd sculpture, even, for ridiculously cheap. It is a sculpture of Derek's deadly, mysterious spleen. http://www.asofterworld.com/index.php
