Last Friday, the day after an amazing #GhostLaunch event in central London, we pushed the launch button and sent 6,000 Kickstarter backers their invitations to signup for Ghost.org and download the very first release: Ghost 0.3 - Kerouac.
The response has been overwhelming. In just 4 short days we clocked quarter of a million page views on the new site and answered more emails, messages and tweets than we can remember. Within hours there were Ghost blogs popping up all over the world. It has been an honour and a pleasure to watch some of you hack on Ghost with your own themes and modifications. There have been some awesome tutorials popping up by people who are building things with Ghost, so we thought we'd round up a few for you to check out.

Le design réinvente la consommation d’eau. Le 02 octobre 2011, par Jean-Jacques URVOY Pour s’hydrater, on connaît le verre à eau, la gourde, les gobelets et bouteilles en verre ou en plastique. 2 milliards de gobelets sont jetés chaque année et environ 7 kilogrammes de bouteilles en plastique par an et par personne.
Devant ce constat, on peut se demander pourquoi on ne boit pas plus d’eau du robinet. C’est parce que le contenant n’existait pas. Jusqu’alors. La société Gobilab a considéré que le gobelet jetable était une solution d’hier. Cédric Ragot, le designer, a vu ses propositions soumises à 100 personnes, qui confirment que le Gobi est la première bouteille réutilisable adaptée au bureau, à nos déplacements et activités du quotidien: il est transparent pour voir l’eau et sa propreté. Cette démarche rejoint celle du Centre d’Information sur l’Eau, qui encourage la consommation d’eau du robinet et vient de créer les Ateliers de Consommations de l’Eau, et dont La simple agence gère l’image.

These cuts will save $35 million, which is a lot, but CNN Money points out that this is only .001 percent of the total deficit. What's more shocking is the fact that the House spent a grand total of $190,000 on bottled water last year. I have visited the Capitol and can say first hand that the District of Columbia, despite being taxed without being represented, generously provides Congress with clean running water. Look at old pictures of Congressional hearings and you will see lovely pitchers of water and nice glasses for both congresspeople and witnesses. More recent pictures feature mostly bottled water (though the pitchers occasionally still make an appearance). To find your congressperson's address, go to this House site.
