Futurology. Brad Austen: The Different Dimensions and Our Multidimensional Selves. Written by Brad Austen, Mindful-Meditations. A lot of material has been channeled in the new age community about the different dimensions and ascension. But what are these dimensions? The Earth has multiple dimensions, which remain invisible until you are vibrating to that particular dimension. Dimensions aren’t so much a place, but a state of being and vibration. The earth is still vibrating physically in the 3rd dimension, but its ethereal body is vibrating in the 4th dimension. Eventually the physical will merge with the spiritual and become a 4th dimension body and so on until the earth becomes a 5th dimensional planet. The same is happening with our bodies. Our multidimensional selves contain great wisdom and knowledge. Mediums and psychics are able to tap into the akashic records to reveal information that normally isn’t within our awareness.

This is when I realized that we have much more control over time in our lives than we realize.

Before we dismiss tachyons as an annoyance to both philosophy students and Star Fleet captains, let’s take a look at the problems they pose for string theorists. In string theory, the lowest level fluctuations of a basic string – the kind that are unavoidable and present at all times because they are quantum fluctuations – add up to a negative squared mass. Quantum entanglement isn't only spooky, you can't avoid it. Quantum entanglement is the key to quantum computing, cryptography, and numerous other real-world applications of quantum mechanics. It is also one of the strangest phenomena in the Universe, overcoming barriers of space and time and knitting the entire cosmos into an integrated whole. Scientists have long thought that entanglement between two particles was a rare and fleeting phenomenon, so delicate that exposure of the particles to their surroundings would quickly destroy this linkage.

Now mathematicians at Case Western University have shown that entanglement between parts of large systems is the norm, rather than being a rare and short-lived relationship. Entanglement is one of the strangest predictions of quantum mechanics. Two objects are entangled if their physical properties are undefined but correlated, even when the two objects are separated by a large distance. No mechanism for entanglement is known, but so far experiments universally show that nonlocal entanglement is real.

It is still a tentative, even speculative discipline, but what scientists are learning from it might just spark revolutions in the development of new drugs, computers and perfumes - or even help in the fight against cancer. The idea that biology - impossibly warm, wet and messy to your average physicist - should play host to these states was almost heretical. The Holographic Universe. In a paper named ‘Constraints on the Universe as a Numerical Simulation’, they point out that current simulations of the universe - which do exist, but which are extremely weak and small - naturally put limits on physical laws.

A Nobel Prize winning biologist has ignited controversy after publishing details of an experiment in which a fragment of DNA appeared to ‘teleport’ or imprint itself between test tubes. According to a team headed by Luc Montagnier, previously known for his work on HIV and AIDS, two test tubes, one of which contained a tiny piece of bacterial DNA, the other pure water, were surrounded by a weak electromagnetic field of 7Hz. Eighteen hours later, after DNA amplification using a polymerase chain reaction, as if by magic the DNA was detectable in the test tube containing pure water. Oddly, the original DNA sample had to be diluted many times over for the experiment to work, which might explain why the phenomenon has not been detected before, assuming that this is what has happened.

The phenomenon might be very loosely described as 'teleportation' except that the bases project or imprint themselves across space rather than simply moving from one place to another. According to string theory, these quarks (including the electron) can still be broken up into smaller units. What string theory suggests is that the whole universe is made up of these strings. Matter and radiation are gravitationally attractive, so in a maximally symmetric spacetime filled with matter, the gravitational force will inevitably cause any lumpiness in the matter to grow and condense. That's how hydrogen gas turned into galaxies and stars. But vacuum energy comes with a high vacuum pressure, and that high vacuum pressure resists gravitational collapse as a kind of repulsive gravitational force.

The pressure of the vacuum energy flattens out the lumpiness, and makes space get flatter, not lumpier, as it expands. So one possible solution to the flatness problem would be if our Universe went through a phase where the only energy density present was a uniform vacuum energy. Inflationary models also solve the horizon problem. But how does Inflation work? A testable prediction? So are all the problems solved? Despite the prediction above, inflation as described above is far from an ideal theory.

Before the Big Bang? It seems fairly likely that there was a Big Bang. The obvious question that could be asked to challenge or define the boundaries between physics and metaphysics is: what came before the Big Bang? Physicists define the boundaries of physics by trying to describe them theoretically and then testing that description against observation. Our observed expanding Universe is very well described by flat space, with critical density supplied mainly by dark matter and a cosmological constant, that should expand forever.

If we follow this model backwards in time to when the Universe was very hot and dense, and dominated by radiation, then we have to understand the particle physics that happens at such high densities of energy.
