De superbes images dans un noir et blanc appuyé, contrasté, où l’on sent l’absence de contraintes, l’impulsion, le sentiment d’intense liberté : North Road nous montre des routes, magiques, des visages, fugaces, et un monde lointain, ardu, qui donne envie de s’élancer à son tour. Tout a commencé par une résidence d’artistes à Halsnoy, en Norvège, en août 2012, à laquelle il se rend en voiture depuis Bruxelles en compagnie d’un ami musicien. Sur la route « Arrivé en Norvège, sur cette petite île, il m’était impossible de photographier “une histoire” ou un “reportage” au sens classique », raconte Sébastien.
