Ynzo van Zanten: How small choices bring big changes. Written by martijn, October 6, 2012, filed as article Ynzo van Zanten reflects on the current state of sustainable development, and the choices we are confronted with in daily life. With an overwhelming amount of crises hitting at the same time; financial crisis to climate crisis, we seem to remain paralyzed and wait for solutions from companies and governments.
The same companies and governments that put us in the situation the world finds itself in. And in that paralysis we overlook the simple fact that we can choose to be part of the change in the little daily choices we are confronted with. The person complaining about a lack of action from the government is the same person leaving the heating on at home ‘so it’s nice and warm when I come home’, or the same person choosing a non-organic chickenbreast in the supermarket. Regarding Ynzo van ZantenYnzo van Zanten (40), is a graduated Dutch economist (MA), entrepreneur and founder of Green Inc.
