2012-04-06 Rerun commentary: It's the first appearance of Draak! And the only appearance in which he speaks (or at least vocalises) in something other than his distinctive typeface. And yes, I checked the Monster Manual to make sure that statement is true. I always intended Draak to join the party, and had the miniature ready from the beginning. But I figured it would be more interesting if he joined the party later, rather than being part of it right from the first strip in the Fantasy theme. I held him back for nearly 6 months before this debut.

Whenever we come up with something dumb, something that’s supposed to be a joke like the game in the strip, a lot of times it starts to grow on me . I don’t know! I think there’s a lot of headroom there. I do have a Kickstarter problem , though, and it may require a technology a sophisticated as Gabriel’s to bring this irresistible drive to its conclusion.
