The Akashic Experience Science and the Cosmic Memory Field. The Akashic Experience Science and the Cosmic Memory Field Firsthand testimonies by 20 leaders in culture and science of their interactions with the Akashic field: Provides important evidence for the authenticity of nonmaterial contact that human beings have with each other and with the cosmosDemonstrates that the increasing frequency and intensity of these experiences is evidence of a widespread spiritual resurgenceIncludes contributions by Alex Grey, Stanislav Grof, Stanley Krippner, Swami Kriyananda, Edgar Mitchell, and others Knowing or feeling that we are all connected to each other and to the cosmos by more than our eyes and ears is not a new notion but one as old as humanity.

Traditional indigenous societies were fully aware of nonmaterial connections and incorporated them into their daily life. The modern world, however, continues to dismiss and even deny these intangible links–taking as real only that which is physically manifest or proved “scientifically.” Marcus T. Richard G. The Akashic Experience. Akasha. Meaning in different philosophies[edit] Hinduism[edit] In Hinduism, Akasha means the basis and essence of all things in the material world; the first material element created from the astral world, (Akasha (Ether), Earth,Water,Fire,Air,) in sequence). It is one of the Panchamahabhuta, or "five elements"; its main characteristic is Shabda (sound).

In Sanskrit the word means "space", the first element in creation. In Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati, and many other Indian languages, the meaning of Akasha has been accepted as sky.[1] The Nyaya and Vaisheshika schools of Hindu philosophy state that Akasha or aether is the fifth physical substance, which is the substratum of the quality of sound. According to the Samkhya school of Hindu philosophy, Akasha is one of the five Mahābhūtas (grand physical elements) having the specific property of sound.[3] Jainism[edit] Akasha is space in the Jain conception of the cosmos. Background[edit] Akasha is a Sanskrit word meaning "sky", "space" or "aether", and it entered the language of theosophy through H.

P. Blavatsky, who characterized it as a sort of life force; she also referred to "indestructible tablets of the astral light" recording both the past and future of human thought and action, but she did not explicitly identify these as "akashic" in nature.[1] The notion of an akashic record is attributed to Alfred Percy Sinnett, who, in his book Esoteric Buddhism (1884), wrote of a Buddhist belief in "a permanency of records in the Akasa" and "the potential capacity of man to read the same. Accounts of purported akashic access[edit] Readings of the akashic record were central to theosophist writings, but also appear in writings of other related figures. Alice A. "The akashic record is like an immense photographic film, registering all the desires and earth experiences of our planet. Levi H. See also[edit] References[edit]

The Complete Idiot's Guide to the Akashic Record, Complete Idiot's Guide Series, Synthia Andrews, (9781592579969). Paperback - Barnes & Noble. A Profound Guide To Living The Spiritually Enlightened Life!

The Complete Idiot's Guide To The Akashic Record, by Dr. Synthia Andrews, ND, and Colin Andrews is a profoundly enlightening exploration into the Akashic Record, the non-physical "encyclopedia" of the history of the universe including every thought and action of every person in existence in the past, present, and every possible future. Long-studied by mystics and prophets, theories of the Akashic Record are founded on the concept of universal consciousness, the idea that every person, place, animal, and object are connected as one individual manifestation of a larger whole, founded in the conscious universe which exists at the center of our minds.

Although this book does provide a thorough explanation of the Record including its purpose, its design, how memories are imprinted, and how to access the Record, this book serves as so much more. In actuality, it is a detailed manual for living the spiritually enlightened life.
